After an insider leaked slides from an inside Coca-Cola coaching seminar on confronting racism, Trump supporters have vowed to boycott the model over the phrase “be much less white”.
The seminar focuses on how people can tackle their white privilege. One slide reads that, “to be much less white is to: be much less conceited, be much less sure, be much less defensive, be extra humble, hear, imagine, break with apathy [and] break with white solidarity.”
Different slides highlighted that “by age three to 4, kids perceive that it’s higher to be white.”
The slides come from a public LinkedIn Studying seminar known as “confronting Racism, with Robin DiAngelo”, writer of White Fragility. DiAngelo has mentioned she was unaware that she was featured on the course, whereas LinkedIn has pulled it.
